Teams are a great way to help build engagement with your challenge and to give your users a sense of community and personailsation. Teams can be set from 1 to 50 users and can be chnaged via the admin area.
By default our system allows users that have signed up to your challenge to invite colleagues to join them on their team. If you wish you can set it so that only admins can create teams and invite users to join.
There are a number of different leaderboards you can enable in your challenge for both teams and individuals, two of these are "Teams: Total Distance" and "Teams: Average Distance".

Teams can belong to a regions, department, city, or other segment type
Teams can chat within their own team to build encouragement and engagement
Teams can compete on leaderboards
