Adding A Challenge Description

Overview

Your challenge landing page is the entry point to your challenge and is the first thing your participants will see before they register. It's important to use this page to provide your participants with any information that may need when taking part.

This information could include challenge rules, information about any specific reasons why you've decided to run a challenge and links to fundraising pages and charities you're supporting.

Step 1

Plan Your Description

Your challenge description will be shown on your challenge landing page (eg. yourcompany.bigteamchallenge.com) to anyone who hasn't yet registered or logged in. The area which will contain your description is shown outlined in red in this screenshot.

Plan out what you think participants will need to know and what you'd like to say. The description can include text, images and external links, so use this space to share resources with your participants or link to websites with supporting information.

Open Your Private Admin Area

Your private admin area is located at [your challenge website]/admin (eg. yourcompany.bigteamchallenge.com/admin). You can log in with your email and password you chose when you first signed up.

Step 3

Add Your Description

Click on "Edit" on your current challenge and enter your information into the "Description" field.

You can find your current challenge by clicking on "Challenges" on the left-hand side, and then clicking on the challenge which is either "Scheduled" or "Active".

Check Your Description

You should now check that your description looks as you intend on the challenge landing page.

You'll need to log out of the admin before you can get back to the landing page. Select "Log out" at the top right-hand side of the screen.

Navigate to your landing page (eg. yourcompany.bigteamchallenge.com - note: without "/admin") and confirm that your description looks correct. You can see the updated description outlined in red in this screenshot.

You should now check that your description looks as you intend on the challenge landing page.
