Winter Walking Challenge

We're off to Lapland!  Let's all hold hands and skip / run / walk / cycle / swim from BFBS Cyprus (if you squint you can see Station Manager Anthony Ballard with his starter's pistol) to that most Christmassy of places, Lapland.  On our way we'll call in at BFBS Germany (where Rosie da Costa and her team will be offering warming cups of virtual gluhwein) and three of the UK bases - Salisbury Plain, Blandford and Colchester (where Ben Coley, George Wedlake, Jason Herbert, Joe Carden and Liz Mullen will be donning Santa hats and reindeer antlers to wave as we whizz by!)  Then it's off to the chillier climes of Scandinavia to arrive at Santa's Grotto by Christmas Eve.

This is a great reason to break out the running shoes, yoga pants, swimming goggles or whatever fancy kit you need for your chosen form of exercise.  But it is just for fun, so please don't go mad and pull a muscle, otherwise the rest of us will have to take it in turns carrying you along the route!

Here's to some fun, improved fitness and a good way to find that perfect mince pie / sit up ratio!
